Nat zegree (music/lyrics)

Nat Zegree, Music/Lyrics: Nat has been playing piano since he was three years old. A proud native of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Nat performs one-man shows and concerts across the country. Nat is also a writer/composer and recording artist. He has written music and original material for CBS’ “The Good Fight,” and his original album “Fly More Than You Fall” (not the musical) is available on iTunes! He has written three original musicals with writing partner Eric Holmes, including “Fly More Than You Fall.” Their other musical, “The Kings Critique,” was produced at Indiana University in 2016. He’s played Jerry Lee Lewis in the Broadway hit “Million Dollar Quartet” for over 400 performances at theatres such as Papermill Playhouse and Ogunquit Playhouse (2015, 2016), for which he received a BroadwayWorld award for best performance. He played Mozart in a live music production of “Amadeus” at Flat Rock Playhouse (2017), and his voice has been heard as a virtual singer for the Broadway hit Dear Evan Hansen.”


Eric Holmes (Book/Co-Lyrics) TV/Film: The Good Fight” (CBS All Access) “Evil” (CBS) “Smash” (NBC); Theatre: Eric’s musical Fly More Than You Fall that he wrote with Nat Zegree, premiered at the NOORDA Center in Orem, Utah in 2019 where it won nine regional Broadway World Awards, including Best Musical and Best New Work. Their other musical, The Kings Critique, debuted at Indiana University in 2016. Production Coordinator of the film The Good Catholic.” Co-Producer of Theresa Rebeck’s first feature film Poor Behavior.” His play Black Friday was nominated for Otis Guernsey New Voices Playwriting award in 2013. His farce, Nearly Departed, won him the David S. Hawes Scholarship in 2004. He participated in the LARK’S Writer’s Retreat for two summers and was a writer-in-residence at The New Harmony Project.
